Safe Work Method Statements are a legal requirement for High Risk Construction Work in New South Wales under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW) and WHS Regulation 2025. SafeWork NSW enforces SWMS obligations under s. 299 — PCBUs must prepare, review, and ensure workers follow SWMS before commencing HRCW.
