Safe Work Method Statements and safe work procedures are required for high-risk mining activities under the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2025 and state mining legislation. Mining operations involve the full spectrum of high-risk work categories including blasting, confined spaces, powered mobile plant, work at height, and hazardous chemical exposure, each requiring documented safe work procedures with hazard-specific controls.
